Awards

Xtreme Power's DPR® has recently been honored with many of the industry's top accolades.

Bloomberg New Energy Finance has selected Xtreme Power Inc. as a 2012 New Energy Pioneer. The Bloomberg New Energy Finance Pioneers program identifies companies from around the world that are changing the energy landscape forever. An independent panel of industry experts from banking, academia, corporations, utilities and technology providers chose the honorees by assessing them against three criteria: potential scale, innovation and momentum. Bloomberg New Energy Finance (BNEF) is the world's leading independent provider of news, data, research and analysis to decision makers in renewable energy, energy smart technologies, carbon markets, carbon capture and storage, and nuclear power.

Climate Change Business Journal® (CCBJ) is a business research publication launched in 2007 which provides high-value, strategic business intelligence on the Climate Change Industry. Each year the CCBJ accepts nominations internationally from members of the environmental industry for the annual EBJ and CCBJ Business Achievement Awards Program. In 2011, XP was awarded the Project Merit Award in the Energy Storage category for its 15 MW/10 MWh battery energy storage system that went live in March 2011 at First Wind’s 30 MW Kahuku Wind Project on Oahu, the first large-scale integration of wind power and storage in the United States and perhaps globally.

Xtreme Power® was named to the 2011 Inc. 500|5000, Inc.'s annual ranking of the fastest-growing private companies in America. The list debuted in 1981 as a ranking of the 100 fastest-growing private companies in the U.S. Xtreme Power ranks #20 in energy companies on the list and the #1 energy company in Austin.

The editors of R&D Magazine announced the winners of the 48th Annual R&D 100 Awards, which salute the 100 most technologically significant products introduced into the marketplace over the past year.

The Global Cleantech 100 highlights the most promising private clean technology companies around the world, recognizing companies at the forefront of cleantech innovation who are offering solutions to some of the planet's most pressing environmental challenges. Over 4,000 nominations were submitted.

The first annual business achievement awards recognize industry pioneers who often remain unsung. The CCBJ awards are an attempt to recognize companies, technology developers and entrepreneurs for taking risks to build a sustainable business in the climate change industry.

The Tech Innovation Awards honor the most innovated technologic ideas and advances in the Central Texas area.

Each year, the Techie Awards are given to recognize pioneering tech companies that are paving the way with innovation in technology.
